Masterplast can reach higher levels by German acquisition

The leading Hungarian material and construction company has been working on the biggest acquisition in its history. The purchase of the business unit of the accomplished German company which manufactures construction and special membranes opens new doors for Masterplast at the biggest markets of the European Union. The company is currently manufacturing such permeable membranes, which are the materials for surgical masks and protective clothing.

 

 

On 12 March 2020, Masterplast negotiated a preliminary agreement on the purchase of the accomplished German manufacturer’s unit in Aschersleben. The agreement covers the transfer of rights and liabilities, including especially – but not exclusively – the immovable property, the stock, the contracts of customers and suppliers, the production line and rights related to some intellectual products, such as to trademarks. The unit is responsible for making a big variety of construction diffusion foils and industrial membranes on its own production line. The German company is an active supplier of the high-demand surgical masks and protective clothing of the German manufacturers, marshalling its modern technology in the entire production process. The company will inform its investors about the further details and execution of the project following the conclusion of the contract.
