HUMAN RIGHTS POLICY

The respect for human rights is a fundamental value of the MASTERPLAST Group, which permeates our entire operation, whether it concerns manufacturing, product development, sales, or activities with our stakeholders – our employees, investors, suppliers, customers, etc.

We support and strive to embed the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights and OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises throughout our business activities and we encourage our partners and suppliers to do the same in cooperation with the MASTERPLAST Group. Our approach to human rights is an integral part of the Group’s Code of Ethics and Supplier Code of Conduct and Ethics.

The Human Rights Policy applies to Masterplast Plc, its subsidiaries, the entities in which it holds a majority stake and the facilities it manages. The Company is committed to adhering to the principles of this policy.

We consider it a fundamental principle to comply with the law in every country where we operate. In accordance with the UN Guiding Principles, where national law and international human rights standards differ or are in conflict, we adhere to national law, while striving to comply with internationally recognised human rights principles to the greatest extent possible.
If we become aware that we have caused or contributed to negative human rights impacts, we actively cooperate with the affected parties to eliminate such circumstances.

The MASTERPLAST Group collaborates with stakeholders and is committed to the continuous development of this policy. This policy will be amended and/or updated accordingly if there are significant legislative or regulatory changes affecting our operations, or as deemed necessary.
