On March 29, 2021, Balázs Ács, Vice President of Masterplast, handed over the playground tools and equipment to the Mayor of Sárszentmihály, Andrea Óber. Gábor Törő MP and Ilona Nagy, Director of Csicsergő Kindergarten, also took part in the small ceremony.
The kindergarten operated by the Municipality of Sárszentmihály provides education for 69 young children in 3 groups. In the 2020-21 school year, five qualified kindergarten teachers, one pedagogical assistant and three nurses carry out the developmental and educational work.
The institution aims to create conditions in which the versatile, loving development of the children can be realized. The old playground had to be demolished for safety reasons, but to provide toys for the children until the new kindergarten is completed, it was important to create a new, relocatable, mobile playground that will be a jewel not only here but also in the new kindergarten.
“With our donation we aimed to provide an opportunity for healthy leisure activities for the children. As part of this, we purchased tools and equipment necessary to create a versatile playground.”– said Balázs Ács, Vice President of Masterplast Nyrt.
“The Municipality of Sárszentmihály pays exceptional attention to the establishment and maintenance of modern equipment and toys that promotes the healthy development of children. As a result, two more renovated playgrounds have been handed over in recent weeks in addition to the implementation of the new kindergarten playground supported by Masterplast. Thanks to the tremendous help of Gábor Törő MP, the new kindergarten in Sárszentmihály will soon be renewed by renovating the building of the former mansion behind the school. The plan has been approved, and we hope to receive support for it this year, so the construction can begin.” – said Andrea Óber, Mayor of Sárszentmihály.
“The renovation of kindergarten playgrounds is essential, as this is the most effective development from the point of view of early childhood education,”added Gábor Törő, Member of Parliament.
The ceremony took place in accordance with the measures taken against the COVID epidemic and in compliance with the regulations.
